PSC1 is the basic training of first aid

Details and Extracurriculars
  • Protect:
    Rescue requires self protection first, and area secure against others people.

    Collect important information on the victim status, and retransmit to the rescue service adapted to the situation.

    Responding to an obvious distress:
    - The victim choking (severe airway obstruction)
    - The victim bleeding profusely

    Responding to an unconscious victim:
    - Who is breathing
    - Who is not breathing (cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation and automatic external defibrillator)

    Responding to a victim who complains of:
    - a malaise
    - a wound (serious or not)
    - a burning (severe or not)
    - a pain after an impact or a fall
